The Taste of Beverly
Would you like to spend your next February Vacation Week in a luxurious two-bedroom suite in sunny Orlando, Florida? Or maybe you'd rather curl up under a gorgeous quilt created by the Garden City Quilters and read a book by the fire? These are just two of the fabulous prizes which will be auctioned off at our Bookmobile Fundraising Auction, A Taste of Beverly, which will be held on October 25, 2008. There will be a Silent Auction for wonderful items from local businesses and individuals from 9am to 8pm. Then, starting at 7 pm, Beverly restauranteurs and food purveyors will lay out a delicious array of dishes for you to sample. And don't miss the Live Auction which begins at 8 pm where you'll have the chance to bid on more fantastic donations. There is no charge for the daytime silent auction portion of the fundraiser. Tickets for A Taste of Beverly and the Live Auction will be $10.00 and can be purchased at the Library and at Case de Moda on Cabot Street. Event proceeds benefit the Bookmobile Fundraiser.
Would you like to donate something for this worthwhile cause? Do you do crafts? Prepare taxes? Plow driveways? Would you like to put together a theme-related basket of small items? We're looking for donations of items that others would love to buy for themselves or for others! If you are interested in donating an item or service to the auction, please fill out the donation form and send it in to the Library.
